Warts – are growths on the skin. Moles are made up of a clustering of melanin in the skin – stemming from melanocytes – which can be found commonly on the skin. Moles are usually pink, tan or brown. They can be flat or raised and are usually round or oval and no larger than a pencil eraser.

Treatment:

Plantar Warts – Plantar warts are benign (noncancerous) growths that occur on the sole (plantar surface), heel, or ball of the foot – the wart is made up of a thick fibrous tissue forming a dense mass under the particular area of the foot. Pressure from standing and walking often causes them to grow into deep layers of the skin which pushes on the soft surrounding tissues of the foot causing considerable pain and discomfort. All common warts – removed in the same manner as plantar warts.

Treatment:

Popular treatments like shaving / or cutting out the plantar warts or applying products to soften the wart only treats the symptoms but does not completely remove the wart – in most instances the root of the wart stays in tact and grows again. Due to the sensitive nature of the area anaesthetic is injected into the area which completely numbs the area so a quick and proper removal of the wart is accomplished.
